Guide on Employment Laws for Employers

If you are hiring employees in Singapore, do you know that you have certain obligations under the Employment Act? Besides specifying the minimum terms and conditions of employment, the Employment Act also spells out the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers under a contract of service.

In addition, if your employee is a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident, you are required to pay Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions for them. We hope that you will find this brochure useful in providing some basic information on the Employment Act and the CPF Act.
